It was the summer of 2024 when Pep, a Catalan who had settled in Na Foradada for more than four years, was returning from Binibeca and, as he passed by Camí Vell de s’Ullastrar 46, he was left speechless in front of the Villa Madrid estate, a colonial-style estate from the early 20th century.

Attracted by something he couldn’t explain, Pep went into the garden. Everything was a bit soulless, the space had been closed for more than three years. But he felt it: he was vibrating, he was excited. He was convinced that that place was special, unique, incredible.

Fifteen days later, Pep and his partner —connected, as always, with their daughter Alba— entered the house for the first time. There was a lot of work to do, yes, but the excitement far outweighed any challenge.

Inside Villa Madrid, Pep clearly sees that this space can perfectly accommodate the concept of restoration that he has been defending for more than eight years at Nou Can Martí, in the city of Barcelona.

Thus begins the negotiation period, with the brothers Ramón and Daniel, in full harmony and sharing the same goal: to bring Villa Madrid to its rightful place.

Taking advantage of the opportunity offered, Pep, Alba and their entire team —the Chef Team of Fuego— set to work on remodeling and preserving the property, respecting its essence and giving it new life.

The Seguí Maspoch family became the owners of Villa Madrid in December 1924. It is no coincidence that, exactly one hundred years later, in December 2024, we are closing this agreement with them.
